Mythtv's addon Mythweb - who knew it had a mobile theme, too?

MythTV screenshotHere's a list of television shows that are on the to-delete list from my Mythbuntu box. I have the Mythv frontend on my MacBook Pro, too, allowing me to watch tv on my laptop. Boom. Hooked. Maybe I should open it up to the public so my friends can tell me what to watch. Like that guy who opened his automated house up to the internet- you can watch him sit on his computer in his underwear and flip the lights on and off around him. (can't find the link).

Mythtv South Burlington Users Group Entry #1

So I've successfully upgrading my Mythbuntu box from 9.04 to 9.10 and thus Mythtv .21 to Mythtv .22 and I desperately want to include some fanart on my fancy-ass themes for my .22 frontend OSX builds (graciously provided by TheSniderPad.com. Only trouble is I'm having trouble! Fanart appears to work fine on the Mythbuntu frontend but there appears to be some sort of sharing issue with OSX.

Really, a gigantic sink

Seriously- it was gigantic. I took a shower in it.

Issue Queue: Microsoft Silverlight Thinks Your Intel Mac is a PowerPC

That's ok, Quicktime knows Silverlight is a piece of shit.

I dun caught me a fishy

In the Chesapeake Bay! Sorry I look so "special" in the photo. I was slightly uncomfortable holding the thing as you might be able to tell.

Battle of the Bands

Shitcan Noisebelt would love to be chosen for this Battle of the Bands- Please register us by telling Donnie Davies that Shitcan Noisebelt is the gayest band you've ever heard and is quite possibly the reason your kids are dabbling in dark arts and homosexuality.

The list of bands that have already been chosen is amazing. We'd love to be in the fold with the likes of Metallica, Madonna, and Clay Aiken.

Paralyzed Veterans of America Gave Me a Nickel

Today in the mail I received this envelope which contained a nickel.

If that nickel saves lives THEN WHAT IS THAT NICKEL DOING IN THE ENVELOPE? I don't want to think about how many envelopes they must have sent out that contained potential life-saving nickels. They probably spent thousands of dollars on nickels.

That's weird in so many ways.

About Adam Cooper Wood

Adam likes kittens, radio, music, web stuff, Drupal (sometimes), and kittens. He lives in frigid Burlington, VT.
He has totally geeked-out with MythTV via Mythbuntu, a flavor of Ubuntu with MythTV built into it. His Myth setup is an Intel Pentium D running at 2.8ghz with 2TBs of storage for music and tv/movies and 3 capture cards: 1 Hauppauge HVR-1250 for HD broadcasts, 1 PVR-150 for cable direct, and 1 PVR-150 from a Set-top-box. NERD!
