If he actually was sincere about the shit he's spewing I wouldn't be soo angry now. But he could care less what happens to the American people otherwise he might have done something about it a year ago. At least he his friends get a lovely parting gift as he leaves the white house.

I hope he gets shoved in the Nixon pile when kids study American politics.

turkey.jpgI hope everybody's L-Tryptophandango was the best ever.

fig. 1: This is what they look like when they're alive. I know- feathers, right? So weird.

Someday in a bizarre turn of events the turkeys are going to revolt and have a special day when they all eat human during an afternoon meal but they'll call it dinner anyway (most likely related to the size of the portions). It's going to be like Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds only with a much slower pace.

[BT] Burlington Telecom PDF E-mail

It's been a while since the Burlington Telecom Interweb providing switcharoo fiasco and I must say that everything has been smooth  since. Burlington Telecom has so far provided me with speedy (3m/3m is fast enough for me) trouble-free Internets and over 150 channels of television for about ten bucks more than my Comcast Craptastic service at less than 20 channels albeit slightly speedier interconnection. I must say, the service is awesome. I also like the online bill pay. With Comcast, it seemed like I had to re-register every three months for online bill pay on their sketchy site, and it was always disconcerting to talk to friends that had the EXACT same service as you (internet and 5 channels of watchable tv) who were paying more or less than me.

Also of note is the ease of installation. The tech put a box in the basement next to the giant thing-a-ma-bob that does power type stuff and wired it through pre-existing holes in the floor. Another box was attached to the wall by the tv and my wireless router spits signal to an access point thus connecting all of my machines (server, mac workstation, tivo, and dead XBox 360). 1/2 hour tops.

SO big ups (do the kids still say that?) to BT for everything they've done. I feel a whole lot better sending them my money than Fairpoint, Comcast, etc. etc.

And thus an ambassador to the animal kingdom.

Alas, I'll keep day-dreaming that he retires after January 20th and while spending time on the ranch gets mauled by a wolf.

Sorry, that's horrible. This should be enough to satisfy me.
