For his part, Mr. Palin has worried about the frequent separation of
his wife from her family, friends and Alaska staff, an adviser said.
Accordingly, her family will be with her in Sedona during this week.
Also, a key Alaska staffer joined the Palin operation Sunday.
Are they setting up the Palin exit strategy in case she bombs the debate and gaffes during subsequent interviews? Just maybe. Interesting that we're being informed of her "retooling." We've all seen her suck during interviews. Is the bar soo low that she could practically sit in silence and score a draw? Maybe.

Top notch news crew. It's hard to tell they're trying to piece together a story out of semantics and then claim it didn't make the real news because nobody cared about Biden at the time. It's like a high school paper.
Who gives a shit if McCain's asshole was pierced by a bayonet while he was a POW during the war of 1812? That has no bearing on his ability to run a country. I'd much rather pick a president who exhibits sound decision making skills. By picking Sarah Palin for a running mate, I'm lead to believe that McCain's brain is located much too close to his asshole.
