Or why John Kerry lost? Could be, Mr. Conspiracy Theorist. Pretty scary right? And a repost of Wired's article from a year ago with a blurb about how the machines use a Microsoft database. A Microsoft database? Hows about "And thanks for voting 3 times for John McCain, now please enjoy this Blue Screen of Death. The database is built from Microsoft's Jet database engine. The engine, according to Microsoft, is vulnerable to corruption when a lot of concurrent activity is happening with the database, such as what occurs on an election night when results are uploaded and various servers are interacting with the database simultaneously.
