Lite-Brite
Lite-Brite, Bomb or Toy?
I can't speak for anyone else, but as a kid I always suspected Lite-Brite was a bomb. With those tiny plastic multi-colored pegs
that plugged into a board and lit up...

Wow. I'm surprised the handbook of Homeland Security doesn't have a picture of a lite-brite for identification purposes. If it were my assignment to write the manual, you bet it'd be in there, and obviously way before Cat Stevens, or Yusuf Islam? You know, the sogwriter guy turned Muslim who wrote Peace Train? Obviously a terrorist.

Lite-Briter
Lite Brighter, note 4 'D' batteries
Kudos to Boston for calling in the bomb squad after seeing a dozen slightly modified Lite-Brites. This was no Aqua Teen Hunger Force publicity stunt. Well, ok, it was a publicity stunt in the 7 other cities, but not in Boston. These cute little light-up waving critters have caused quite a stir. Never underestimate the impact of of four 'D' batteries.

"Everyone can play a part by holding Turner Broadcasting to account for today's events," Suffolk District Attorney Daniel Conley said. "Viewers, advertisers, license holders, can and should make clear to them this sort of behavior is reckless, irresponsible and illegal."

No doubt viewers will do their part. HELLO RATINGS BOOST! And everyone who reads this should do their part too. Take the batteries out of your lite-brite when you're finished playing with it.
