Jam-band Phish (one reviewer for Rolling Stone coined the term 'Neo-Hippie Nintendo Bong Culture') frontman Trey Ernest Anastasio got arrested in NY just before Christmas. Today's headline in the local paper- 'Anastasio Pleads Not Guilty; Hopes to Avoid Jail Time.' We'd all be worried if he was looking forward jail time, now, wouldn't we? 

"You're a Jedi knight, Trey!" one fan yelled in "Star Wars"-style praise as Anastasio climbed into a black van with tinted windows after the hearing. The singer did not react before a driver closed the doors and sped away.

Nice indication of how far-removed from reality most Phish fans are. Here's to hoping, if he DOES go to jail, that he doesn't get into too many lightsaber fights.
